The Summer Solstice Celebration

The Revels North Solstice Celebration occurs on or about the Longest Day of the summer each year.  An event for the entire family, the festivities include a parade round the Norwich green, activities for children and parents, dancing, music, storytelling and song.   Guest performers such as Skip Cady, Gabriel Q, Pete and Karen Sutherland, and Marko the Magician have joined us over the years to add to the magic!

We invite you to join our summer celebration choruses for adults and children---no auditions are required!  Just enthusiasm to sing and participate in preparing the day.  Rehearsals begin in late April for singers.  For 2011, we hope to bring a celebration of summer sky with music and stories of the stars, planets, and creatures of the air.

SOLSTICE FESTIVAL 2010:

Thank you to our sponsors, cast, volunteers, production manager, audience, and special thanks to the Wellborn Fund and Byrne Foundation for making this year's celebration possible!

The 2010 Summer Solstice Festival took place on June 19th on the green in Norwich Vermont.   With adult, teen and youth choruses, the sounds and sights brought us back to the farm life of New England including the original tale of Malulabell, Farmer Brown's Savvy Cow.   A great welcome to our new production manager, Bonna Wieler.
