Band of Fools

The Band of Fools is an all-ages musical ensemble modeled on the community street band, where people come together to have fun making music. With guidance from Artistic Director Nils Fredland and Band of Fools Director Pat MacPherson, and with whatever instruments players choose to bring, we will play tunes and create arrangements to support dancing and singing.

No music reading necessary. Bring your fiddle, kazoo, drum bass, sousaphone, jaw harp, or banjo–or anything, really–and get ready for a wild musical journey!

This program is free; we appreciate your donations to help keep our programs open and accessible to all.

Our 2018 dates: March 10, August 25, October 13
